Dear Martin.
I'm thankful for a renewal of information about your Scotty the Samurai.
When Scotty couldn't enter for bumper race by an injury, I'm a little worried. I expect that he will be getting better and plays an active part early sincerely.

If Scotty races in Japan, one all Japan would bring uproar. I'd like to make such day achieved looking forward.

Best regards,
Tayoshi

Tayoshi, the last information I had about this horse was in August when the trainer was thinking of running him in a bumper race, which is a flat race for horses that will one day be raced over hurdles or fences. I have not heard anything since then though and the horse is not currently entered in any races. It is possible that the horse has an injury.

Scotty the Samurai is trained by Alan Swinbank who does run his horses all over the world. He had one horse called Collier Hill who won races in Sweden, Germany, Canada, Dubai, Ireland and Hong Kong, so perhaps you may see Scotty the Samurai run in Japan one day.

Best wishes, Martin

Dear Martin.

How do you do?
I'm the Japanese who likes a thoroughbred.
I read your diary and got very big surprise.
Because I found the name of Scotty the Samurai in a diary of Tuesday, 7 October, 2008.
His parents are a Japanese horse both.
In particular, a father played an active part by a Japanese G1 race.
And, my favorite horse Ten-point was in a mother family line.
Scotty which descends from both of them attracted my attention from his born.

However, his news just wasn't heard any more after he was introduced by a site of http://www.alanswinbank.com/TwoYO/2yearolds.htm
at last year.

So I am very happy to find the name in your diary.
I'd like to know the current condition very much.
If you know, would you please tell me activity informations?

I'll cause you trouble, but please permit me.

Best regards,
T.Yoshida
